Well Good for Aaron Rodgers

First, he out-gunslinged the old, washed-up Favre and now he's got a hot ... err, grapefruit heiress(?) on his arm. Stay focused, Aaron. Stay focused.

The hot grapefruit heiress has a name, and it's Julie Henderson, fellas.

Hollywood Brett

I love this image of the "low profile" Brett Favre just shucking and jiving during the cold shoulder treatment the Packers gave him last year. Of course, he doesn't seek media attention. He's a football player. Carries his lunchbox to work with him everyday. Wears his heart on his Armani-covered sleeve. Silly myopians.

"Cold? Naw. Nothing five or six hand warmers in the face couldn't cure."

Just a Reminder about The Legend

Wasn't much of a "sees the whole field" kinda guy. I was at this game. Overtime. Improbable trip to the Super Bowl on the line. Chance for Favre to cement his legacy and leave the game on top. This is the moment all of that unraveled.

When I saw this image the day after the painful loss, I threw up in my mouth a little. That's Grant running free in the right flat. Who knows how long he would have run. Jennings deep left with about four yards of separation from the corner, and Donald Lee in the center of the field with the linebacker doing an "Oh crap!" trying to get up to speed.

Where did the Legend go with the ball? Yep. The tightly covered Driver, FTL. Legend indeed.

Speaking of Fashion

I know we all have them: the pics you hope never see the light of day. But this? Wow. Just wow. All dressed up for the draft, I guess.

Favre/Vikes Deal Already Done?

No real surprise here if this is accurate. Just par for the double-speak course.

The Clan Are Big Spenders ...

That bastion of luxury, the Midway Motor Lodge, apparently has less rooms for sale come Halloween weekend. I just hope the Deer Hunter game in the lobby is functioning before they arrive.

The Joe Buck Interview

Did he actually compare himself to Vince Lombardi???

Favre the Schemer

(Associated Press/HBO, Adriano Agundes)

The Joe Buck interview showed just how much of a self-inflated narcissist Favre really is, and it wasn't lost on anybody. And what's that pillow under his right arm? Big baby ...

Great Article about Brett's Real Intentions

Namely: money. Andrew Brandt is a brilliant capologist who has a great fashion sense. Nice turtleneck, Andrew.

Oh, and That Little Issue of the Personal Locker Room?

Not so endearing, it seems.

Former Jets Teammates Taking Jabs?

Yep. So much for being a leader.

Jared Allen Doesn't Care Much for Brett's Antics

Well this doesn't bode well for the all-important team chemistry.

The Tark

And then there's Fran Tarkenton, who would like nothing more than to chew on Brett Favre's spleen.

Gale Sayers is Not Feeling Ol' #4

This gets amazing rather quickly. The list is long and distinguished of the players and former players who think Favre's on the road to perdition.

Retiring from the Jets? Suuuuuure ....

First he's going to retire. Then he's going to ask for his release. Twice.

Waitaminnit ... Favre Says He Didn't Talk to the Lions

So, which is it, gunslinger? Talking out of the left or right side of the mouth today?

Favre denies report he gave Lions info on Packers

Now We Get the Picture

It started to become clear during Favre's stint with the Jets that it wasn't all about playing football after all. It was about sticking it to Ted Thompson, the Packers and their fans.

Glazer reports that Favre had spoken to the Lions ABOUT THE PACKERS prior to the Lions/Packers matchup WHILE HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE JETS. I guess he had memorized the playbook in record time and had nothing better to do. Uh-huh.

Favre Breaking Down

Stats for yer hat, myopian.

Favre Van Susteren - Part 2

And on it goes ... More setup for the wishy-washiness and doublespeak that will become a hallmark of Favre's media-hogging mentality from this point forward. "You don’t worry about my legacy. It’s a bunch of bull, it’s all it is.”

Favre Van Susteren - Part 1

The fallacies begin. "Well, if I could wait for training camp [to make my decision to play ]..." We see it's about Favre and not the organization.

OK, Let's get This Started with Facts ...

Listen closely, myopians. This is the basis for all of your arguments, and they're unfounded.

Favre himself says "I know there's been comments and issues in the press lately about why I'm leaving, whether or not the Packers did enough, whether or not Ted and Mike tried to convince me to stay. None of those things have anything to do with me retiring, and that's from the heart. "

Our Mission

On Sunday, November 1, 2009 when Brett Favre strolls through the tunnel of Lambeau Field wearing a Vikings jersey, silently turn your back and give Favre the one thing he can't stand ...

Inattention.

Turn Your Back on Brett Favre

"I am officially retiring from the NFL and the Green Bay Packers."

With those words spoken on March 6, 2008, Brett Favre began a calculated and disingenuous charade based on conspiracy theories that Packers’ GM Ted Thompson secretly pushed Brett Favre out the door. His actions since then prove beyond the shadow of a doubt a pattern of childish, perhaps disturbed behavior to wage a personal vendetta that has irreparably tarnished his legacy.
